The Escalade Hybrid comes standard with second row captain’s chairs, which provide enough seating for seven; however, drivers have the option to replace the captain’s chairs with a bench seat to make room for an eighth passenger. Leather seats, heated and air conditioned seats and front seats that are controlled with power adjustable settings and a memory driver seat are all standard in the Escalade Hybrid for 2012.
A blind spot warning system, OnStar, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, remote start and a sunroof all come standard in the Escalade Hybrid. In addition, the navigation system, stereo and Bluetooth system are all controlled on a touch screen interface and a rearview back up camera makes being in reverse safer and easier for drivers.
The 6.0-liter V8 engine produces 379 horsepower and a combined fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon, getting 20 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway. The Hybrid battery pack is located beneath the second row seats.
